Turnpike roads in England - this is one of my sources I have been using to figure out if the building I have found were actually once tollhouses. Full of useful information and also includes things like milestones.

Old Hampshire Mapped - a very comprehensive site containing many, many high quality images of maps of Hampshire up to 500 years old.

    Maybe it would be more helpful if you called your web page English Tollhouses.
